PIXEL ART GENERATOR / FIGMA

Keep creating in Figma.

Start with the free image converter. Download editable pixel-art source, then continue in Pixel Art Generator inside Figma.

From your browser to your canvas.

  1. Convert your image.

Choose the grid and palette in the free web converter. Every grid fits within the plugin source format’s 128 × 128 limit.
  2. Keep an editable copy.

Choose Editable .pxa. This preserves pixel positions and colors rather than flattening them into an image.
  3. Import in the plugin.

Open Pixel Art Generator in Figma. In Library / Saved creations, choose Import .pxa, then select your downloaded file.

Try a small source first.

PNG: a flattened image for placement in a design. Use it when you want the finished appearance without editable source.

.pxa: editable source for Pixel Art Generator. The current plugin code supports importing this format; verify it in your installed edition before relying on a project handoff.

The browser converter is free. Plugin availability, licensing and premium features are shown in the linked host listing and plugin interface.
